The city of Olomouc
The city of Olomouc ranks amongst the greatest historical treasures of the Czech Republic. The first written reference to the city comes from the 11th century. The former Moravian capital remains the archbishop´s and the university seat up to the present day. The General was imprisoned in the Olomouc fortress in the years 1794 - 1797. This remarkable building and the renovated premises have been preserved in authentic Art Nouveau style.
